Benihana Covent Garden

Supplying and installing high bright displays and an internal large format LED screen.

The Project

Anyplace Media Group were approached to install a video solution for global Japanese restaurant company Benihana ahead of the opening of its new flagship restaurant in Covent Garden, London. The challenge was to provide an internal LED display for a high traffic area which needed to be eye-catching but durable to withstand potential damage if brushed against. Benihana also required window-facing screens that would be bright enough during daylight to ensure maximum “kerb appeal” and the facility to remotely control the content that could run on both Android and Windows operating systems.

What we provided

Our answer was to supply and install 32” high bright displays and an internal P2.5 LED screen measuring 5m wide by 3m high. The attention-grabbing smaller displays were positioned at the entrance to the restaurant, tempting customers in with beautiful images of its famous teppanyaki dining experience, a range of menu choices and other information. The large format display is truly breathtaking, with video footage and stills showing the restaurant’s expert chefs at work, making an immediate impact on visiting guests.

“Anyplace Sales Director Andrew Simister managed the project from start to finish, demonstrating a thorough understanding of this field and using his wealth of experience to advise on exactly what should be installed. The solution he proposed not only ticked all of our boxes but was also the best price during the tender process.

The complete system was delivered on budget and on time with full support from Andrew and his team, making this a most satisfying experience. I would thoroughly recommend Andrew and Anyplace Media Group to any business looking for a digital visual solution.”
