Cookies

In common with most corporate websites we deploy a small number of cookies. Cookies are tiny data files that are stored on your computer but are not used to identify you personally. Four of our cookies form part of the standard Google Analytics tool installed on tens of millions of websites worldwide, and the other two are part of the popular StatCounter visitor counter service (see table below).

Analytics tool

The web analytics tool Google Analytics is deployed to obtain an overall picture of how visitors use this website.

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information in an anonymous, aggregated form about how visitors use the website – for example, the number of page views, how visitors have arrived at the website, and the number of visits. The information generated is redirected to, and stored by, Google Inc. IP addresses are stored, but cannot be individually distinguished.

Google can transfer the collected information to a third party if it is required by law or if a third party processes the information on Google’s account. Google cannot link IP addresses with other data it holds.

Google and StatCounter cookies deployed.
