Getting your content on the big screen

Getting your content onto a large format display (LFD) involves several steps, depending on the type of content, the display setup, and the technology you’re using.

HDMI/DisplayPort/VGA

Users can connect their computer, media player, or other content source directly to the display using an appropriate cable.

USB Drives

Some LFDs have USB ports where you can plug in a USB drive with media files (images, videos, presentations).

Standalone Media Players

We can provide a dedicated devicer that stores and play back content, connected via HDMI or other video outputs.

Integrated Media Players

Customers can choose a large format display that has a built-in media player that can read content from USB drives, network drives, or cloud storage.

Local Area Network (LAN)

The display can be connected to a network to access content stored on a local server or network-attached storage (NAS).

Wi-Fi

Our displays support Wi-Fi connections for accessing cloud-based content or streaming from devices on the same network.

How is it installed?

Installation requires careful planning and execution to ensure they are securely mounted and function properly.

The installation process of our screens can vary based on the type and size of the display, the environment, and the mounting method.

Our process includes:

  • Carrying out a site survey
  • Selecting the right mounting method
  • Gathering the correct tools and materials
  • Detailing the mount preparation
  • Preparing the display
  • Connecting and testing the display
  • Providing supporting documentation and training guidance

What’s the difference between Large Format Displays and Video Walls?

LFDs are single, large screens designed to provide a seamless viewing experience, ideal for showcasing high-quality visuals and dynamic content in various settings.

Video Walls, on the other hand, consist of multiple smaller screens tiled together to create a larger composite display, offering the flexibility to show different content on each screen or a single, unified image.

The main difference lies in their construction and flexibility. LFDs offer a single, uninterrupted screen surface, while Video Walls can be configured and scaled to fit larger spaces and more complex display needs.
