Three Projects, One Goal: Elevating the Peterborough United Fan Experience both inside and out of the stadium.
The Project
Peterborough United Football Club, founded in 1934, plays its home games at the Weston Homes Stadium (formerly London Road Stadium).
Our partnership with Peterborough United began with a project to enhance their fanzone – the vibrant area just outside the stadium where fans gather pre-match. The club wanted to introduce a dynamic digital screen to display live games, broadcast Sky Sports, and share stadium updates and fixture lists – all to boost the matchday experience from the moment fans arrived.
Following the success of the fanzone screen, the club brought us back in to help transform their brand-new retail store. We installed behind-the-counter digital signage and two striking vertical screens within the shop to spotlight new products and offers, giving the retail space a sleek, modern edge.
Most recently, Peterborough United entrusted us with one of their biggest digital upgrades yet – the installation of a brand-new jumbo screen inside the stadium, further elevating the in-stadium experience for supporters.
What we provided
To bring the club’s vision to life, we delivered a suite of high-impact digital signage solutions designed to engage fans and drive commercial value.
In the fanzone, we installed a vibrant outdoor screen that streams live matches and Sky Sports, creating a lively pre-match hub and encouraging fans to arrive earlier.
Inside the club’s new retail store, we fitted four sleek 65” vertical LCD screens to promote merchandise and seasonal offers, alongside a commanding 98” behind-the-counter screen that delivers eye-catching branded content and matchday promotions.
The centrepiece of the project - a 6m x 4m jumbo screen inside the stadium, transforms live match coverage, sponsor visibility, and crowd interaction. Together, these solutions elevate the fan journey, open up new revenue streams, and give Peterborough United a dynamic platform to engage supporters before, during, and after the game.
”We are thrilled with our new jumbo screen, it really adds to the matchday experience, we are now able to share key moments in the match, announcing team line ups, goal scorers, extra time and instant replays. Commercially, it allows us to leverage precise moments for targeted marketing during the 90 minutes, such as goals, substitutions, and extra time - capturing the attention exactly when it matters. It’s a great platform for our partner brands to promote themselves on.
After the success of the Fanzone screen it was an obvious choice to use Anyplace Media for the in-stadium screen. Once again, the comms and installation were first class, and of course the screen itself is spot on, offering clean and crisp video/images.
